i return.

so as the title suggests, i came home today. very tired. exausted in fact, but refusing to go to sleep in order to get back that normal body clock. ha!

id like to share a few photos for those who are interested:

for 12 hours, i was princess stephanie, and everyone said Happy Birthday to me, and i got given a carrot cake and a sprinkles and chocolate dipped marshmallow thing. for free. because of the magic badge.

marcus bought tshirts from the children's sections in the Vans shop and in Walmart (totally cool batman lego t).

me, fighting with a ginourmous candy apple, covered in caramel, chocolate and patriotic sprinkles. safe to say, i only managed half of it.

monster dragonfly. literally 3 inches long.

we also saw the shuttle Discovery take of 40 miles away in Cape Canaveral, ate far too many Subways and Dennys, bought our wedding rings for bargain prices, saw Iron Man and Indiana Jones at the cinema, tried Taco Bell, marcus shared a changing room with a cockroach which hissed at him, saw some amazing lightening storms....and tonnes more. i bought loads of clothes, loads of sweets for other people, some converse, scrapping stuff and DVDs and had a panic attack on a ride that wasnt even really scary and luckily had a doctor sat next to me stopping me from passing out!! phew.

early birthday

because im obviously going to be in florida on my birthday, i was allowed a few presents a bit early. although i felt guilty as im a big believer in getting presents on the day and not before. so anyway, here's a little peek at what i got.

i got some pink paislee stamps, an underwater disposable camera (will use on water rides), a print of the evil queen from snow white and a gingerbread man charm from links of london. my dad also gave me some dollars.

speaking of dollars, this time tomorrow we'll be sat on a plane waiting to go! so im sat here waiting to be able to check in 24 hours before so we can get decent seats. last time we flew to the US we weren't even originally in the same row!

managed to scrap something today!

tonight we're looking around a small country house as a possible venue for our evening do (for the wedding). we've already seen a couple but nothing so far is right. one place on friday was lovely..good food, nice building..the only problem was they had caravans which were visible from the garden, and these were permanent with residents and everything. ick. i have nothing against caravans but not in my wedding photos thank you!

not much to say here, saving all my excitement for florida :)

another beautifully hot day here. i only managed to sit outside for an hour and a half it was so hot!!

weather wise its been a typical english bank holiday. rubbish. although today turned out pretty warm..marcus even had his shorts on! look at those pasty legs!

back to work tomorrow, although only 6 more shifts until we go away to florida! thats 16 days til holiday and 20 til my birthday..yay!!!!!

i had a dream today that i had a huge pile of post including a CJ and my kittyrobot DT buttons and when i woke at 12 (dont worry i went back to bed after!) i went to check the post. and there on the doormat were the CJ and buttons. how strange!
