Madam has napped today for the first time in two weeks, so I thought I would be selfish. First up, peanut butter cream Krispy Kreme. Yum. Next, some scrapping!! But on sitting down, I rwally struggled to use the photos I had printed. Does anyone else do that?? Have high hopes then not actually feels inspired by your pictures?? So my mammoth session only ended.up with one layout, but I like it.
Has it really been so long since I last posted?? So much has happened in that time...I've skated in two roller derby games, both.of which we won, we've had days out, been to a wedding, looked after a caterpillar and seen lots...
I love a little paper play to relax. I like to do it during naptime, but unfortunately, naptime doesn't happen every day anymore, and when it does, it's quite short. So my pages are getting.speedier!
I love the way I've managed to squeeze in five photos on the legoland layout, by creating 'flaps' with photos and washi. I also used a kraft bag to store our park tickets.
The 'choo choo' layout also has the tickets from our trip on the miniature railway!
This layout uses the last quirky kit lite and is inspired by the latest blog post at www.shimelle.com. The photo is a shuttle launch from our Florida 08 holiday.
I can't help it. I get jealous easily. Other people's fancy holidays? Why can't we afford that? People who have nice finished houses? I want one. When my sister gets Pandora charms for mother's day and birthdays etc I feel A little ball of Green building up.
I can't help it. I try, I really do. But from the outside it all seems so...well, so unfair! Yes there was a little foot stomp. I'm sure behind the scenes things aren't so east or rosy, but we don't see that. We only get to see the finished, the pretty and expensive. And it hurts sometimes.
But to add a note of happiness, here's E and the husband at my sister in laws wedding on Friday.
Was two yesterday!! We went to legoland and had a lovely day, despite the cold. Only grievance was that many of the food kiosks weren't open, which I assume is due to it being 'off season'. But if that is the case, should there not be an off Season price??
I managed to find a spare hour for some paper play. I made two pages. One is about my new love for filofaxes and planners and the other is more personal, about how I lost too much weight without realising.
I got sent some lovely homemade cork stamps by my cousin.
