Planes, trains and baby animals

M managed to get a week off work recently,  and we were lucky enough to squeeze in two day trips: one to an animal park and one to a field to view an airshow.
The airshow was fab and the park and view option meant we didn't pay £90 entrance only to have a tired, grumpy toddler declare they want to go home. The farmer provided toilet facilities and there was a catering van. Top it off with beautiful sun and it was almost perfect.

The animal park was a lovely day too. There were plenty of baby animals to coo over, we saw penguin feeding and went on a small train ride around the park.

Inspite of generally rubbish weather, we had a lovely time.
