5 days old

we're tired from lack of sleep, i have a permanent migraine, i ache EVERYWHERE, my clothes dont fit, i have to inject myself with anti clotting drugs..

..but look at what ive got.

change of plan..

Baby didnt want to wait until today. I started getting contractions at 3am on saturday and by 630 they were 5 minutes apart. We called Delivery Suite and they said to come straight in. By 830 contractions were every 3 minutes and i was consented for theatre. 922am she was born!

bit of a shock

Yesterday hubby and myself had an appointment at the hospital as my midwife was a little concerned that baby was on the small side. Turns out baby is fine size wise, but is in fact breech..or bum down. Apparently the guidelines for maternity units now state that elective caesareans are performed for breech births, especially if its a first baby. So we're going in on monday!! A c section was everything i didnt want for this birth, but i guess the 'experts' know best. So if all is quiet on the blog front then thats why!!

another project

I like the idea of also making a 'scrappy' blanket using odds and ends of yarn, but as i now have 2 on the go, it will have to wait.

Finally scrapping

Admittedly the first LO was done last year..its been that long!! Almost all components from various Quirky Kits Lite ( http://www.craftytemplates.co.uk/ ), except some kittyrobot ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/kittyrobot) buttons.
