the final curtain!

here is sketch 60, my final sketch for twisted sketches. this twist for this was 'joy' and as you can imagine, all sorts of things sprung to mind - christmas, birthdays, our wedding. But when i saw how determined our cat was to get cheese, and how happy he was after, that was my subject.
so i give you 'The Cheese Heist'.

for my dollies that is! Frankie, my BWT, is off to sunny Brazil. In her place im getting this lady, an Amaryllis.


at the moment i have two possible names : Pandora or Ramona.. i'll see what she thinks of them.

the new kit is up at qtea kits, and if you love Alice in Wonderland, you'll love this! im debating if i need it, as i still have a few previous kits from them with lots of unused bits.....i best not debate too long, this will fly out!

* my girls are very lucky at the moment. lots of new clothes. these are from Heavenly Blythe and are adorable IRL!
*im crocheting like crazy for BlytheconUK, which isnt til october but i want as many hats for my stall as possible!
*We decided early on we wouldnt have a holiday this year, due to house saving, but my lovely friend Sade, who lives in Cornwall, has said we can stay with her for a few days. So come september, we're having a mini break :)
*i got my acceptance letter from Bristol Uni yesterday, to say i have a place on their Childrens Intensive Care Practice course, which will end up giving me an honours degree! back to study for me!

i scrapped!

yay me :) i picked up my scrap'a'gogo kit from the post office today and my cherry photo was perfect. im sorry it isnt very clear but im having to scan LOs in, which doesnt work well if there's any extra dimension. i also think my old sewing machine has properly died now.

i love this time of year, as this is when all the scrapbooking companies start showing sneaks of their new lines. american crafts have another 'dear lizzy' line and this one looks a winner...look at those 3d flowers!!




on a side note, i have decided to sell one of my dolls. she doesnt get the love anymore, and ive been guiltily eyeing up an Amaryllis....so Frankie, my BWT, has to go.

right now..

Last night I had to go to a wedding reception by myself as marcus had managed to give himself some form of heatstroke. I didnt mind going on my own as im a big girl, but it would have been nice him being there. As the evening wore on, i found myself feeling more at a loss, fidgeting with my car keys, restless, tearful. very strange. i went home 3 hours later and all those feelings went as soon as i saw marcus. I have never considered myself the type of person who 'needs' another; apparently i am.

On another note, my time with the Twisted Sketches team will be coming to an end at the end of July. I will miss it.

woe!

my digital camera has died! argh!!! so now i have to find money for a new one...i really like this pentax optio i 20 and have seen a good deal for it...but it still means finding over £100. but i cant live without a camera.
