in which i miss time BP - before pregnancy

dont get me wrong, i love the whole pregnancy thing....well...except the sickness, tiredness and other nesses. what i hate is feeling like a social leper.

i loved Roller Derby. i still do. but obviously it doesnt really go well with pregnancy. so i had to stop. that was 17 weeks ago and i miss it so much; i miss the sweaty practices, the socialising, the gossip....

my team are now at the point where bouting against others is getting closer and closer..and i cant be as much a part of it as i would like. i feel like things are moving so fast and im being left behind, and thats tough, especially as i was in it from the start.

i just want my wheels back.

week 20 and other stories

baby has cooked to week 20 now, and is moving all the time and kicking nicely. Bump is growing slowly and has a nice shape, so i now look pregnant rather than have eaten too much...

this year ive decided to crochet some christmas presents.

i also used some of the silver flecked wool to make another blythe hat which is listed in my etsy.

ive also picked some gender neutral colours for a baby blanket. i went with Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, and if we decided to find out the sex, can add in the appropriate colour palette as needed.

bump at 16 weeks..not that different to 12 weeks..

growing slowly. but surely. am now 16 weeks so bump is a bit bigger. the sickness has stopped, the tiredness has stopped, i finally feel human.

this blanket is a very slow process!! i have enough squares for 6 rows and need at least double that for it to be of a decent size!!

moving?

having gotten fed up with being messed around with various agencies, hubby and i turned around last friday and told all involved we wanted to move this thursday (22nd) and they had to make it happen..fingers crossed, things are looking good.

had a call at work from hubby whilst at work to say a man was wandering around our estate looking for his daughter's cat..that went missing 3 months ago. of course im worried its Darwin, but as he's now chipped he's officially ours...isnt he??

here's the LO from the previous post, but now i have a working camera again (yay) you get a proper picture. i also managed my first one of our new cat.
Speaking of Darwin, he isnt coping well with the whole move thing, especially as we appear to have hit a bit of a stumbling block. He's gone off his food and will only eat is one of us sits next to him and strokes him. He's losing weight and doesnt like being outside too long. poor little man.
