You cant be perfect all the time

Its true. And trying to be is nearly making me ill. Hand in hand with a new baby is remembering that jobs need to be prioritised and its ok if the washing doesnt get done. Having a three year old around the house three days out of five in the week is HARD; tempers get frayed..breathe. Timings go to pot. Ask for help. Crying is ok, as is chocolate. Lack of sleep is a killer but fingers crossed, wont last forever; babies are meant to wake, adults are not.

It will get better.

I want my mojo

I remember this phase from last time..wanting to be creative but not having the oomph to do it. I want to crochet, to scrapbook, write letters, bake, play with my planner. I want to have a go at Project Life, read....anything! Not only do new babies suck your energy, they also suck your creativity. Im waiting eagerly for its return!

First fireworks

Last week we took the girls to see fireworks. Rosalind was not bothered at all. Eleanor just wanted a glow stick!

All change

Well its been a tough ten days. Sleepless nights go without saying. Add a grumpy three year old to the mix and it turns into a very stressful time. We understand shes feeling pushed out, as hard as we try not to. It will be ok. Give it time.
