oh look, more scrapbooking!

This lovely photo is my sister on her wedding day. The pp and frame were from a previous quirky kit lite and the orange ribbon was wrapped around my bridesmaid bouquet. Behind the frame i made a shaker window using a small plastic packed filled with bits of confetti and gems from the tables which i collected on the day.

I love this photo of us so much i just had to use it.

A quick 6x12 with Ella meeting the Snowman from the John Lewis Chirstmas advert. I added a couple of kittyrobot buttons and a sticky label, but everything else is from the latest quirky kit lite.

 

 

I just thought i would share a little of my december daily. its only 4x5 but i thought with a baby a small size would be easier to finish.

just a little scrapping!

 

 This a a quick LO about Ella's red mark on her head. To me, it looks like a forceps mark, but as she was a Csection, I wasn't aware of forceps being used. The reason i think it is though, is because she was already on her way out and had to be pulled back so they could deliver her.

 

 

 Here's one of me at a friend's skating party age 7. Who'd have thought that 20 years later I would be back on skates playing roller derby!

The Plague House

This week has been horrid! One by one we've come down with the dreaded winter sickness bug; Ella still isn't quote right and its been 5 days. Nit only have us three been ill, but my sister and her twins have had it, and now my Mum has it!

my sister and i have a regular play date. wednesday is stories and songs at the library, and afterwards we go to the grand old Asda cafe! My sister always buys sandwhiches, but never eat the crusts; my daughter however, does.

Last weekend we went to Bath for the MILs birthday. We split off for lunch and went to Wagamama. love Wagamama!! Ella seemed to enjoy it too!



 



 

Last week we went to a local town farm for a few hours. It waws an interesting trip...health and safety would have had a field day!!

I used some alphas from October Afternoon's WitchHazel line to complement the Thickers.

A couple of weeks ago we went to a big garden centre called Millets Farm. In their Christmas barn they had lifesized stuffed reindeer; Ella was fascinated!

When we went to Cornwall, we had a cream tea at a place called Helford. 3 weeks later it was on the news. The biggest sea mine ever found had been discovered in the Helford river, right where we had been!!

baking baking..

 

wow this week i've scrapped and i've baked! amazing!! These yummy cookies are peanut butter and choc chip. I was inspired to make these after reading this blog post by Leanne...and also by watching the latest series of The Great British Bake Off!! I didnt use as much peanut butter as Leanne; I only used half a jar of crunchy peanut butter, but they dont taste any the worse for it!!

after a cold, brisk walk home, we had playtime in the inflatable ring. the fluffy thing ella is holding is a cat from Jellycat which looks like Darwin, our furbaby.

the three of us have just gotten back from a few days in Cornwall. it wasnt the most successful as Eleanor refused to sleep, but it was still lovely to spend time with my friend who lives there.
