The heartache is easing, and we're not crying all the time. We still miss our boy terribly but life has to go on.

I originally did this LO for April's category stories challenge, but as a group we have since decided to put the blog on hold, partly due to decreasing participation and partly due to increasingly busy lives.

You can still have a go at the challenge if you like, it was to be '-----or-----', so i chose 'ice cream or hubby?'. This was an old joke between us, as i always used to say i loved him more than Ben and Jerrys.

high school crush

A new month, a new challenge over at Category Stories. I couldnt find any pics of my school crush, so instead used a photo of me at school and wrote about him. the prize this month is an assortment of yummies, so come over and show us who you had a crush on!

a category and a sketch

its new category time over at category stories, with our guest this month being amy lapi! the prompt for this month was '---was one of her very best friends'. my Lo is about my friend nicole and how we always pick up where we left, even though we dont see each other much any more.

I also doubled up this LO for sketch 39 from twisted sketches which used the twist 'fabric'. As you can see, my flower embellies use the twist.

if i had a time machine.....

its a new month which means its time for a new challenge over at category stories. this month we're doing 'if i had a time machine' with a sponsor prize from our very own Bre! i used some pp and embelishments from the KI Memories prize pack i won from Ali Edwards blog.

in other boring news, im currently sat in waiting for the garage to come pick my car up for a service. i was expecting them over an hour ago as im going out for lunch...still no sign.

Glee last night was fab. loved their version of Queen 'somebody to love'. gave me goosebumps.

Hoping to add a couple more hats to my etsy. i want to try a few new colours but dont want to buy any yarn if no one will buy the finished products. what do you think? more spring/summer colours for blythe hats?

december 1st!

argh i cant believe it! i opened my milky way advent calender and got a snowman choc. did anyone else do that at school...compare calender chocolates? i also opened my Lego pirate calender and got a pirate man. yay!



december was my month to post at Category Stories. We use wordpress for this and i have decided, i loathe wordpress. This month we're doing 'the best present i ever received' with the prize being a $15 voucher for pixie petals. This LO also doubled as sketch 26 at twisted sketches.

category stories for november is 'bad behaviour'. im sure plenty of you have something along these lines you can scrap!! my subject for this category is my cat, and how he always jumps on the bed with the covers 'open', despite knowing he shouldnt. monkey!
