Our week together.

M had this week off so we made sure we did lots of lovely things including going to the beach and the aquarium.
It was lovely to have family time, but its also nice to get back to our regular routine.

I wish.

I wish o could be on a scrapbooking design team. I wish I was good enough.
I wish I could skate and play roller derby like I do in my dreams. I wish I was good enough.
I wish we could take exotic family holidays. I wish we had the money.

The Importance of 'us' time

Little E went to her grandparents so hubby and I had a naughty Chinese buffet.
We missed her company but its important to have 'us' time too.

The time has come for me to return to work. Boo! I start back weds night for 2 a week, which means my lovely routine with Ella has to change.
In other news, my trusty size 5 crochet hook snapped :( just as I had caught up with the In A Spin CAL.

Bath

Sunday the 10th, Marcus and I took Ella to Bath to meet a friend of mine. The weather wasnt great but we had a lovely time!

Jubilee Flotilla

Ok, so not the actual flotilla, but my version didn't involve getting rained on.

It's been..

Too hot this week, even the cat is struggling...I got the new Quirky Kit from Crafty Templates today, as well as a hat for Cookie, my odeco...I crocheted a doll dress and modified it for odecos, hopefully Middie's too...oh yeah, and yesterday I was 29!

Today was..

Olympic torch day! I don't have any photos of the torch as my battery died, but my dad got plenty.

New...

New dolly. My odeco turned up a couple of days ago and is waiting patiently for clothes and shoes.
New art. We went to Bristol today to the Affordable Art Fair and I splashed out on a painting for the front room.The artist is called Andrew Hood and the gallery was First Contemporary.

Happenings..

The batteries and film for my instax mini turned up so now I can get snap happy :) ....got my hair cut: cue a confused baby...yesterday was Free Comic Book Day. I picked up 4 freebies plus the deluxe copy of Black Orchid by Neil Gaiman...Marcus was brave and bathed Ella for the first time! Yay daddy!
