I just had to scrap this photo. This bear was bought last year by nanny and grandad and recited the Night Before Christmas, and this year, Eleanor rediscovered it. The poor thing was played to death. We weren't going to replace to batteries but she loves it so much we might need to. Based on a sketch from chic tags.

Naptime scrapping

This layout is made with 90% old products. go me.
The paper is sassafrass lass, the cut out is kiMemories and the '30' is part of an old glitz design rubon.
In fact, the only new bits are the Amy Tan alphas and a couple of bits cut from some Echo Park pp in the latest quirky kit lite.
I love it!

My first derby bout!

Im not sure how long I'm going to continue scrapbooking for. I enjoy it but can't really afford it now. In the meantime, I managed this quick and simple LO with the latest quirky kit lite.
I layered the netting over a frame from a previous kit to soften the whiteness of it. Everything else was from the current kit, which is a rareity for me!

here's my first LO with the latest quirky kit lite from crafty templates. at first i wasnt sure i would be able to use this kit as the Teresa Collins flowery paper kepy blowing my mind, but i bit the bullet and used the reverse side...problem solved!! i added the pink ribbon, doily tag, button (kittyrobot) and the large alphas. the envelope under the photo holds the card from the shoe shop with Ella's shoe size on .

i just dont have the time to write on this poor neglected blog anymore!! but here, for your viewing, is a little paper play.

Rosie's 30th: my friend Rosie recently had her 30th birthday at a local town farm. Despite the snow, there was a lovely turn out.

Every few years, it is time to buy new Converse. The dilemma as to which to chose is huge, which is why i usually end up with plain ones!

My Starbucks Baby

I'm so pleased with this LO! The main pp is by I Lowe Scrap and is my New favourite brand. All pieces, except flair, are from the current quirky kit lite.

A quick 6x12 with Ella meeting the Snowman from the John Lewis Chirstmas advert. I added a couple of kittyrobot buttons and a sticky label, but everything else is from the latest quirky kit lite.

 

 

I just thought i would share a little of my december daily. its only 4x5 but i thought with a baby a small size would be easier to finish.

 This a a quick LO about Ella's red mark on her head. To me, it looks like a forceps mark, but as she was a Csection, I wasn't aware of forceps being used. The reason i think it is though, is because she was already on her way out and had to be pulled back so they could deliver her.

 

 

 Here's one of me at a friend's skating party age 7. Who'd have thought that 20 years later I would be back on skates playing roller derby!

my sister and i have a regular play date. wednesday is stories and songs at the library, and afterwards we go to the grand old Asda cafe! My sister always buys sandwhiches, but never eat the crusts; my daughter however, does.

The Tricky Art of the Family Self Portrait

 

 

Try as i might, i just couldnt get a decent family self portrait...

The base for the title is actually the packaging from the Pink Paislee Instaframes.

I used some alphas from October Afternoon's WitchHazel line to complement the Thickers.

A couple of weeks ago we went to a big garden centre called Millets Farm. In their Christmas barn they had lifesized stuffed reindeer; Ella was fascinated!

This is my first Lo with the main kit from crafty templates. Ive added a kittyrobot button.

I just had to scrap this photo after hearing the news...

When we went to Cornwall, we had a cream tea at a place called Helford. 3 weeks later it was on the news. The biggest sea mine ever found had been discovered in the Helford river, right where we had been!!
