my excitement over moving has come crashing down to earth with a big fat bang. We had 2 estate agents over last week to value us for part exchange. Bovis called over the weekend and said they had a figure..it was awful. we've worked so hard to pay of a chunk of our mortgage, but their offer would negate all that and put us negative, AND it was £15,000 below the market value. there is no way we can afford to move if that is their best offer.
so understandably i was disappointed and a little upset, but we have decided to move on and look to sell on the open market, even if it is only an exercise and doesnt lead to anything. i have contacted the agents who came around last week to see what they can do.h
19th March was the Royal Windsor Roller Girls v The Copenhagen Heartbreakers, a roller derby bout filled sequins and sparkles.
Hubby and i are really fed up with our poky box flat now. there's no room to even consider children. so yesterday we wandered up to the developer who was building the house we like to find out how it's going. they told us how prices were increasing with each build phase, so marcus and i have come to the conclusion we will be priced out of the one we like. so instead we looked at a couple of others. the top picture is a 3 bed terrace, but we'd go for the end one, and the bottom pic has an integral garage. next saturday we're going to look around both and see if any feel right.
