ok, here's my go at the latest inspired by amelie challenge. my other side has responsibility.

and this is 52Q question 20, my latest obsession.

i went along to marks and spencer this morning to see what all the penny bazaar fuss was about. the shop opens at 9, i got there at 10, and by that point all that was left was ginger beer and old fashioned sweets! of course i bought my 5 item limit of these, it would have been rude not to!

today i took a trip down to the florists to see the rose she's getting in for my wedding...now this is the only wedding peek you'll be getting so enjoy

finished my category stories prompt for may.

first of all, here's the LO i did for say it in scrap challenge 16. weddings are complicated. arent they just! i used one of our save the date cards as well as a couple of bits from aprils qtea kit.

ive also registered at the local library because i go through books so fast it costs me a fortune in new ones!

still to come today, housework and baking. the remainder of the essay has been moved to either later tonight or the weekend. depends how i feel.

time for the new question on 52Q, what am i grateful for right now?

last year we had problems with birds nesting in our loft, until we got someone into fill the holes. this year the birds keep trying and on discovering they cant get in, all decide to poo on my car in protest. so today i washed said car. it could have been a mess, as one of our buckets had had turps in but Other Half couldnt remember which bucket. well, its now been 3 hours and all paint appears to still be on my car.

i made another dolly dress. i didnt manage to make the pleats even so its a bit squiffy:

i still havent figured out the turtle eye issue. i think its going to be a case of brute strength.
