It was the Soundtrack to October

I just had to scrap this photo. This bear was bought last year by nanny and grandad and recited the Night Before Christmas, and this year, Eleanor rediscovered it. The poor thing was played to death. We weren't going to replace to batteries but she loves it so much we might need to. Based on a sketch from chic tags.

I don't normally do shop posts, but there were so many lovely things I just had to share. The shop was called Oliver Bonas.

We also went for Wagamama lunch, which wasn't entirely successful due to little monkey.

Not all bad

Yesterday was my team's last game in the Heartlands series 2013. We lost impressively but I must have done something right as I managed to win Best Newbie. Technically I've been saying for 4 years but what with the time it took for our team to grow and then being off having little E, I've only played in 4 games. Massive confidence boost.

Aye aye captain Gromit

When I said I had finished with my current quirky kit lite it appears I was telling porkies. I hadn't yet cut into that lovely sheet of Glitz Design Finnley I got from the Crafty Templates Quirky Kit extras store, but in order to get the most from it, I cut it down so I still have a piece left. The photo is a lovely family shot from Bristol with pirate Gromit. The 'summer 2013' tab is cut from a current Elles Studio tabbed tag, so economical me gets the rest of the tag too!

Yummy

Me and E did some more baking; rock and chocolate cookies! She did the bashing of the rock and chocolate (with a huge grin on her face) and helped mix the flour in. They're a bit tricky to get off the tray but so yummy!

Celebrating the Hen

I am right at the end of my quirky kit lite now, and eagerly awaiting the next!
The envelope for the tickets was a large glassine one I cut down.

Baking

As part of my quest to keep my monkey entertained, I decided we'd do some baking. I used a ready made dough to save time and Ella managed to some rolling and cutting before getting bored :)
