Happy 1st Birthday!

It might take a while..

Nanny and grandad took Ella to get her feet measured, and bought her first pair of shoes: hush puppies!
Now we've almost hit the 1 year mark, I wanted to get madam onto cows milk. I thought this would be easy as switching to formula from breast milk was a smooth move. This looks to be harder...

day trips

Last weekend we went to Bath for the MILs birthday. We split off for lunch and went to Wagamama. love Wagamama!! Ella seemed to enjoy it too!



 



 

Last week we went to a local town farm for a few hours. It waws an interesting trip...health and safety would have had a field day!!

we've stated weaning and today Ella enjoyed some cucumber in the Asda cafe.

 

after a cold, brisk walk home, we had playtime in the inflatable ring. the fluffy thing ella is holding is a cat from Jellycat which looks like Darwin, our furbaby.

Happenings..

The batteries and film for my instax mini turned up so now I can get snap happy :) ....got my hair cut: cue a confused baby...yesterday was Free Comic Book Day. I picked up 4 freebies plus the deluxe copy of Black Orchid by Neil Gaiman...Marcus was brave and bathed Ella for the first time! Yay daddy!

5 days old

we're tired from lack of sleep, i have a permanent migraine, i ache EVERYWHERE, my clothes dont fit, i have to inject myself with anti clotting drugs..

..but look at what ive got.

change of plan..

Baby didnt want to wait until today. I started getting contractions at 3am on saturday and by 630 they were 5 minutes apart. We called Delivery Suite and they said to come straight in. By 830 contractions were every 3 minutes and i was consented for theatre. 922am she was born!
