It grows and grows..

The hair that is! I have now resorted to piggy tails for little E, and I must say, she looks adorable.

Proud to Wear

This layout is my first non quirky kit One for a long time. I used some Studio Calico paper and based the layout on a sketch from Shimelle's blog (www.shimelle.com)

Fly a kite

A little impromptu trip to the park with the kite from Nanny and Grandad. Just what we needed after E being poorly.

scrap envy

Does anyone else get this??
I don't have a lot of cash to splash on scrapping products, and I love looking as blogs for inspiration, but I hate seeing all those lovely products that I will never be able to afford.
my dream is to be on a design team, so that I will never have to worry about not being able to buy gold Thickers, or Studio Calico veneers, or Project Life kits.

Fountainously fun

We are currently, officially, in the middle of a heatwave in the south of England, with temperatures hitting 28/29c regularly. Because of this, I have joined the ranks of parents taking their children to asda to play in the fountains. Free fun.

Naptime scrapping

This layout is made with 90% old products. go me.
The paper is sassafrass lass, the cut out is kiMemories and the '30' is part of an old glitz design rubon.
In fact, the only new bits are the Amy Tan alphas and a couple of bits cut from some Echo Park pp in the latest quirky kit lite.
I love it!

ice cream?

Little monkey had her first proper ice cream, a mini asda cone. she ate it all.
anyone else eyeing up the project life core kits? I cant afford a whole kit but would love some of the cards from Kraft and Honey. ive been thinking a lot about project life recently. I don't get a lot of time to scrapbook so this would be a fab way of keeping my toes in without the pressure of a whole layout.

Today

I finally managed some scrap time :) here's a couple of layouts using the latest quirky kit lite, with a few extras thrown in.
The Birthday Girl one was based on a layout on Shimelle's blog. I loved trying something with bold, clashing patterns.
The second layout shows my first attempt at misting.
