my digital camera has died! argh!!! so now i have to find money for a new one...i really like this pentax optio i 20 and have seen a good deal for it...but it still means finding over £100. but i cant live without a camera.

high school crush

A new month, a new challenge over at Category Stories. I couldnt find any pics of my school crush, so instead used a photo of me at school and wrote about him. the prize this month is an assortment of yummies, so come over and show us who you had a crush on!

new pullcharms

Elidee and Maeve received their lovely new pullcharms today. Custom made by Jodie and Ayesha at Kittyrobot, they both have glittery gummybears! i also got a few goodies so everyone was a winner today!

ive started to crochet extra hats for BlytheconUK at which i will have a stallshare with LauraKateIsCrafty.

i have a horrible feeling my digital camera is dying on me...all the photos are well overexposed..argh!

As the weather has again been stunning, i got my bike out and went for a sedate 2 hour ride. I had to persuade the twins they couldnt come..they tried every option for sneaking on board.. As part of my ride, i popped into the house development we've had our eye on. the lady in there told me the amount they'd give us for part exchange would be about £5000 less than we'd get on the open market, and we'd have to complete within a month, which would mean moving back in with families for 4 months. i woulnt mind, but i doubt our cat would like it.
So it's back to the drawing board. we need to start looking at properties already on the market. *sigh*

and just for fun, this is why i married marcus. not for the jewellery, the stability, the meals out etc..but for the expensive imported PopTarts.

sketch 55 goes up at twisted sketches today. the twist this time is 'flag', so ive use the red, white and blue from the union jack.

im taking my car into the garage later today to have the deer damage fixed, then later on it's England's final group match for the World Cup! they have to win to go through, so here's hoping they pull their fingers out.

I dont talk about work much, due to confidentiality, but yesterday was a fab day. i went out as an observer on a retrieval, picking a baby up from another hospital. the other nurse i was with has said that next time, im leading it! scary thought but very exciting, and a big complement that she thinks i can do it :)

they burn!

my shoulders that is. today turned out to be a scorcher of a day and silly old me wore jeans. but i had a vest on top and so have pale legs and red shoulders. *sigh*

ive relisted a black blythe hat in my etsy.

i went to buy the kit from a couple of posts back but its now sold out, so instead im thinking in maybe investing in a subscription from scrap a go go. check out these great kits:

this one uses some old sassafrass. just a simple one.
and this is the reason why i dont scrap much! i dont have a dedicated area like so many lucky scrappers out there. i have to use my bed! can i have some sympathy??
