real snow!

real snow! thank goodness im not due at work until saturday night as this country grounds to a halt with snow. we had about 4 inches in 3 hours and its due to carry on until this afternooon. so pretty. although tonight its going to drop to minus 9 or something like that, which means this lovely snow will be a lovely ice rink!

whilst driving home...

*went to a department store today and bought 3 pricey but lovely cushions.
*had lunch at Cafe Rouge and had serious plate envy.
*on the drive home, went past a swan that had gotten on to the motorway and was merrily walking along, with a police escort behind!
*yesterday marcus and i walked and had a look at some new houses near us and have seen one we like. now we need to get out house valued and look at PXing.

crazy weather

( disappointing amount of snow, now turning to ice..)

there was so much snow last night to the east of us that people were phoning in to work unable to get in, and people who were there couldnt get home! crazy! my drive home was fine. in fact, we hardly had any snow, but what we did have is now turning to ice. joy.

today i intend on making fudge. this could be interesting...
