Bubble tea

On Tuesday I had my first experience of bubble tea. It was bizarre but I can't stop thinking about it!

Today was the first solar eclipse for 15 years. And just like 15 years ago (when I was a gawky 16 year old working in McDonald's)  it was cloudy. But this time the cloud actually helped.

I've recently finished a cardigan for my daughter. She chose the colour and the buttons (sparkly), but it became clear the closer to finishing I got, that this jumper was going to be incredibly bright...

When rainy days require quick and easy ideas

I have a confession to make. I love aldi cake mixes. I know it isn't 'real' baking, but they're so handy to have in cupboard!  Today has been especially rainy so we whipped up a batch of ginger cakes with added grated carrot.

Project fail

It's that time of year again, where I think how much I would love to do project life, then realise I have no money to buy anything.

Christmas

I had to do it. I had to share my Christmas with you. I worked the nights of Christmas eve and Day, so my festivities were a little fragmented. But the important thing was that little lady got a Thomas from santa.
Lots of food was eaten,  tummies were full and laughs were had.

i slipped up..

so i totally slipped up and bought a Finsbury personal. it was a total bargain at £20, its a beautiful tan leather, no marks. I set straight to setting her up for next year. I bought paperchase week on two inserts, some month to view, some finance pages and ordered custom dividers. I have two 4 colour pens which DONT FIT IN THE PEN LOOP!! argh!!

so im currently carrying around two planners in my weeny bag. my plan was to take a mini out for notes and basic planning but we'll see what happens!

Wiltshire Roller Derby Christmas party!!

Last night was my team's Christmas party! We hired a pub basement, there was food,  secret santa, Live  music and party games!! We even found a guy who looked a bit like a ZZ Top santa!
