The Current Planner Family

Until recently, I was very happy with my small pocket family. Then I started thinking 'things are getting a little squashed in here...i need to upsize'. So i looked around for a pretty personal sized planner. I really want, eventually, an electric blue Finsbury, and adore the Rio (obv not in mini), but also had my eye on the Temperley Ikat. So I watched and waited, until on ebay, i spotted this lady for £1!! Bargain!!

But now im also thinking that my pocket is too big for my bag and maybe i need a mini too....

I used the latest offering from Crafty Templates with a few bits from my stash. 

Im really happy with this layout. Minimal journalling required.

Raspberry picking

Yesterday we went on a spur of the moment trip to  nearby farm park which had opened a new falconry centre. The birds were amazing,  and they even had a pair of golden eagles which were huge!
We did a bit of raspberry picking although a certain person needs talking to about quality control, and we had a picnic on the grass.

Postcards

A little while ago, the lovely Sian ran a postcard swap to get the mail flowing. I tried my hardest to find cards from my town but the tourist information place had closed! So a trip to paperchase happened.
These are the cards I received. I'm sure there was another but I can't find it!

Going on a dinosaur hunt

We went to a local farm park today, and their theme for this school holiday was Jurassic Farm. So when we went on a tractor ride,  we had to look for dinosaurs!

Grandad turns 90

What a special birthday! None of us can believe he has gotten to this age as he has lots of health problems. It was a great afternoon and grandad did really well.

choices choices...

whats a girl to do?? ive seriously been thinking about whether to get a personal sized organiser as my pocket is just a little too small....but im torn. i love the Filofax Finsbury in blue, and would love a Rio in green or coral. But there are so many other organisers out there its hard to choose!! the Daytimer in green?? a Gillio?? a Van der Spek??
Does anyone know any others worth looking at??
